Wow What A Wednesday!!

Today has been quite interesting!! This morning I was woken up at bout 2 to some terrible weather and I didn't really think too much of it but boy did i miss it! There was apparently a tornado that touched down by my family's house and did some damage. So today we have been busy cleaning up debris from that and taking pics of it. I will post some of those as soon as I have a spare moment.

On a much happier and more exciting note, Lexi got her first solid food today! And she loved it! We gave her carrots and she didn't spit them out until she was full! Yay for Lexi! My baby girl is getting so big!! Will post those pics at a later time too..

Yesterday we took a trip to Baton Rouge just for the day and had dinner with Ryan's cousin and her family. It was a wonderful day! I also have pics from that!!

Later tonight I will be making my first round of Lexi's homemade baby food and I am very excited!! I will let ya know how it turns out for me :) I also have a bunch of cleaning to do! So I will prob get around to posting pics tom when hubster goes back to work!! <3

Ohhh Monday how we love you :)

This weekend has been a very fun weekend!! Saturday was Lexi's friend Veda's 2nd birthday and she had a blast!! It was Sesame Street themed and Lexi got her own personal rubber duckie :) she loves it!! Then we went to dinner with her Great Aunt and Great grandpa! It was delicious!!

We went to church Sunday morning and she wore her new bow I made her :) It was a Louis Vuitton design bottle cap but it just so happens Lexi's initials are LV too so it worked out perfectly!! We then went out to my friend Gabby's moms house and Lexi spent some time with her bestie Neela. (pics coming soon) and we went out to mother in laws for bbg for hubby birthday.

Today mommy went out for some mommy time with Sheila. Had a blast!! Tomorrow we have a very busy day so Im sure ill have more pics to post ;)

Decisions, Decisions...

My head is everywhere right now!! I'm so confused! I know i want to make Lexi's baby food but how? Do I buy the expensive Baby Brezza with no accessories and not so great reviews?? Or do I splurge on the baby bullet (that i really want) that comes with all kinds of neat accessories and a steamer??? Or shall I just buy the cheap Babies R Us blender deal?? Or maybe even just steam my own veggies and use the family blender?

Have I ever mentioned I HATE making decisions! This is so difficult for me. I know what I would like to do but I feel sooo bad spending sooo much of the hubby's hard earned money on something when I could use household appliances and inconvenience myself. Then I have people saying its a waste but it seems like a good idea to  buy something handy!

Then I wonder do i need a cookbook?? If so which one? Should I also buy a silicone ice cube tray? Soo many decisions. I do not like this one bit! And the hubby isn't much help lol I love him though!

So here I sit debating, researching, and going back and forth...

Play Date with Neela!!

Today we have had a busy yet fun day already and still have more to go!! We went to the zoo with Lexi's best friend Neela and her parents Mike and Gabby!! It was so fun! the girls are so funny when they are together! They eat, sleep, fuss, etc. at the same time. It's histerical!! Then we went and pierced their ears together. They both did great. Tears of course but did better than expected! Now they both look too cute with pierced ears <3

The hubby and I love Jersey Shore or as I call it 'Jersey Whores' so tonight we are having a lil get together for the finale. We have a couple friends coming over with their kiddos and we are going to bbq and just socialize. It's going to be fun! We are going to have a blast! I'll take pics for sure :)

Well I'm getting back to getting ready so I will post pics tonight or tomorrow!!!

Tuesday (Family Day)

Oh how I look forward to Tuesdays and Wednesdays!! They are the hubby's day off and it is pretty much our weekend. We had a really great day and got a whole lot accomplished!!! I love my hubby!

My new thing is that I want to make almost all of Lexi's baby food. I want the baby brezza!!! its so amazing!! i also want to try cloth diapers but I'm so scared that I would get grossed out by the pee and poop. so we are still using disposable. maybe one day i will get brave.

I'm exhausted and heading off to bed with my baby girl and hubster :) have a wonderful night!!!

Sunday Funday!

Today was our Sunday Funday! First we went to church and then we headed out to the Children's Museum with Lexi's bestie Neela, Gabby, Sheila, and Little Roy. The girls had a blast, Gabby and I got to catch up, and we got a bunch of cute pics!!! It was a wonderful day!!

Well Hello there!! 

This was our day at the museum, I won't bore you with anymore pics!! We then went home to the hubby and he barbequed and we had a nice picnic in the backyard!! It was a wonderful day. I'm so blessed to have such a beautiful baby girl and wonderful hubster!!!

A Quick Catch Up!!

I'm going to make this long story super short or else it would take days to finish lol!!

Met Ryan in high school.
Got together in October of 2009 and married in April of 2010.
Found out we were expecting the week of our honeymoon :)
Lexi Lynn Vincent was born in December of 2010 ( 4 days late )

That is pretty much it in a very shortened version!!

She was sitting up all by herself!! I'm so proud!

Saint Patrick's Day

Today was our little cupcake Lexi's first Saint Patrick's Day. The day started out on a slow note but ended up being very eventful!! We were super tired since we enjoyed hubby's days off with him. I wasn't going to do anything except take her little pics but then I saw a comment from Kelly on Maddie's Mom Made That. I talk about her like I know her but in reality I don't. It was the month-aversary of her beautiful Maddie's passing :/ i can't Imagine just how she does it. She is sooooooo strong and I look up to her so much!! But anyway she said in remembrance of Maddie take your babies to park and enjoy day. Take pictures and tell them about Maddie. When I read this we got right up and ready :) I'm so glad she gave me that motivation because it was a great day!!

We went to my husband's cousins house with Lexi's cousin Roy. We had a blast!! We played outside, walked to get a snowcone, and took many many pictures! Then we decided it would be fun to go to t. Patty's day parade! It was a wonderful day and I am so thankful we got out! It was very enjoyable! I have so many pics to post but I'm too tired right now! I will tell you the story of how all this happened once I get caught up on everything. Seems with an infant no matter how hard you try there is always something to be done!!! I wouldn't trade it for the world!! Thanks again for listening :)
